Abstract: | According to many historial records, Phu Nap, Yen Dong Commune, Y Yen District, Nam Dinh Province, Vietnam was a place to which Supreme Mother Goddess Lieu Hanh descended for the first time in the 15th century. The worship of Mother Goddess Lieu Hanh commenced a very long time ago. Restored and embellished for six consecutive centuries. Phu Naprelic site is considered to be the most spacious and the largest in the area. The relic site, located in a cultural area with original belief activities, has a great impact on the consciousness of most of the local residents, and preserves and promotes national special cultural values, especially Hau dong ritual. The holding of Phu Nap festival is an occasion for the local residents to take part in cultural exchanges and enjoy national cultural values after days of hard word. Such exchange not only results in new cultural values but also maintains good traditional cultural values |
