dc.description.abstractAmong the four skills of languages, listening skill plays an important role in the process of acquiring a language. However, how to listen English well is a problem for lots of learners, especially for English non- major students. In reality, most of students get bored and become demotivated when listening classes start. In this essay, factors affecting English non-major students' motivation are presented and possible suggestions are also given in order to arouse motivation for students in listening skill, helping them to get involved in different listening activities and then achieve success.vi
