  • Writing is one of the most challenging and difficult tasks for EFL (English as a Foreign Language) learners. Hence, the paper aims at proposing peer assessment as the way of involving students in process of sharing ideas, providing and receiving constructive feedback to improve their writing skills. Peer assessment has been pedagogically determined as an effective method to develop students' writing performance. In this paper, benefits of peer assessment, strategies for using this type of assessment in writing are mentioned. The study also suggests several implications for the implementation of peer assessment in EFL writing classes.
